A Mindfulness Practice to Shift from “Doing” Mode into "Being"

Listening to sound vibration while focusing on the breath can bring on deeper states of AWARENESS creating mental stability,a sense of calm inner peace and self acceptance.

How do you BREATHE

"I invite you for the next 3 minutes to close your eyes, allow your jaw to relax and just notice the breath... " These are words you'll constantly hear me say in almost every class or session I teach. WHY? There are roughly 23,040 breaths we take in each day, how many of them do we really notice? Do we ever really focus on our breath? Probably not. This is our life force, the breath is the first action we take coming into this world and the last action we let go of when leaving... it only makes sense that we should pay attention to it once in a while, let's be grateful for this gift.

Try this and Get Inspired

The next time you become overwhelmed, or start to feel uneasy or anxious, I challenge you to take a moment, drop what you're doing, close your eyes and just observe your breath. Notice the quality, the pace and rhythm, is your breath deep or shallow, can you bring your awareness to it so that you may (just for a second) forget that emotion or thought attached? This is the beginning of connecting the mind and body, stay tuned for more and explore with me.
